Dali, China
Project Description
The proposed project entails the construction of a collection of eight exquisite weekend homes in the picturesque region of Dali, located in the enchanting Yunnan Province of China. Nestled along the riverbank, each residential unit boasts an expansive area ranging from 450 to 500 square meters. The architectural design embraces the unique topography of the site, which is renowned for its striking marble rocks, resembling a mesmerizing ensemble of scattered artifacts.

Drawing inspiration from the surroundings, the design concept revolves around seamlessly integrating the new rocks with the existing ones, creating a harmonious continuum. These magnificent rocks are strategically arranged to generate captivating spaces, while simultaneously serving as stately columns supporting the interwoven slabs. The resulting composition presents an awe-inspiring fusion of nature and architecture, where voids emerge between the grand rocks, giving birth to interconnected spaces within the structure.

The weekend homes harmoniously blend with the landscape, creating a unified and captivating architectural masterpiece that showcases the beauty of Dali’s natural marvels.
