Project Description
This project proposal presents innovative and sustainable low-cost high-density housing design typology options for the Ministry of Housing in Maharashtra State. The proposed designs adhere to the Maharashtra state bye-laws and FSI restrictions, ensuring compliance with the existing regulations.

Recognizing the urgent need for affordable housing solutions, this project aims to address the housing crisis in Maharashtra by offering practical and efficient designs that optimize land usage without compromising quality or safety. The designs prioritize functionality, aesthetics, and community integration while keeping construction costs affordable.

Despite the setback caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the project received commendation from the Housing Cabinet Minister, Jitendra Awhad, for its vision and potential impact on the lives of the state’s residents. Although it was put on hold due to the pandemic, the project remains a top priority for the Ministry of Housing, reflecting their commitment to providing accessible housing options for all citizens.

Through meticulous planning, innovative architectural solutions, and a deep understanding of the local context, this project aims to contribute to Maharashtra’s vision of creating sustainable, inclusive, and vibrant communities. By leveraging our expertise in housing design, we are confident that this project will address the housing challenges and foster positive change for the people of Maharashtra.
