Project Description

The Jerome Playground project by the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation aims to transform an underutilized space in Brooklyn into a vibrant public park. Spanning a generous area, this initiative prioritizes inclusivity and accessibility, providing amenities for residents of all ages and abilities. The park will feature innovative play structures, promoting physical activity and imaginative play. Lush green spaces will foster relaxation and community gatherings, while walking trails, fitness equipment, and sports courts will encourage active lifestyles.

Sustainable design practices, including native plantings and solar-powered lighting, will be incorporated to emphasize environmental stewardship. The revitalization of Jerome Playground seeks to create an inviting outdoor space that enriches the lives of Brooklyn residents, encourages community interaction, and sets a precedent for future park development projects in the city.
