Project Description

The Noonday Creek Trail Bridge project in Marietta, Cobb County, GA, is a pedestrian and biking trail designed to enhance connectivity and recreational access. Commissioned to meet the needs of the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), this project includes a pedestrian bridge spanning a busy highway, providing safe passage for trail users. Winding through a wetland and lush vegetation, the boardwalk trail crosses Noonday Creek and connects to an expansive observatory overlook, offering breathtaking sunset views. Two additional overlooks along the trail route create welcoming spots for rest and nature observation, making it a haven for birdwatchers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Project responsibilities encompassed developing schematic and concept designs through to detailed construction documents, with careful attention to environmental integration and user experience. Close coordination with clients and consultants was essential to align design vision and technical requirements, while managing budgets ensured a balanced approach to quality and cost.
